What it is

EDR is software on laptops, desktops, and servers that looks for suspicious behavior, not just known viruses. When it sees ransomware-style activity or a stolen-tool attack, it can isolate the machine and alert the people watching it.

What it looks like

A user opens a invoice.pdf.exe from email. Signature antivirus might miss a new variant. EDR sees the process start encrypting files and kills it before the whole office is locked.

How we handle it

EDR is part of WolfTech's standard CyberSecurity stack for managed clients. We do not leave endpoints on whatever came in the box from the PC vendor.
