Restaurants
A restaurant's technology is the POS, the card network, the cameras, the phones, and the guest Wi-Fi people complain about on reviews. When any of that is down, it is not an IT problem. It is a ticket-time problem.
WolfTech supports Dayton restaurants with a network that keeps guest traffic off the POS, cameras the owner can check from a phone, and a phone system that does not need a specialized PBX person on retainer.
The work, specifically
- Separate networks for POS, staff, cameras, and guest Wi-Fi
- UniFi or similar gear that can be watched remotely instead of a consumer mesh
- Security cameras, including UniFi Protect
- 3CX phone systems for takeout lines and multiple locations
- Email and Microsoft 365 for the office, with phishing protection for payroll and vendors
- A person who will come on site, not only reboot a router from a queue in another state
We have sat with Dayton restaurant owners through staffing crunches and new tech rollouts. The plan is whatever keeps Friday night moving, not a binder of unused licenses.
How we price
Questions
Can you work around our POS vendor?
Yes. We do not replace your POS. We make sure the network under it is stable, isolated from guest Wi-Fi, and actually monitored.
Do you only work with large groups?
No. Independents and small groups in the Dayton area are the normal case. If you have one location and a consumer router dying every month, that is enough reason to call.
