Overview

WolfTech CyberSecurity LLC ("WolfTech," "we," "us," or "our") uses SMS (text messaging) on a limited basis to communicate with clients, prospects, and vendors. Outbound text messages are sent from numbers associated with our business phone system. This policy explains how we use SMS, what consent looks like, and how recipients can opt out.

How recipients are added

We send SMS messages only to individuals and businesses that have an established business relationship with WolfTech, such as active clients, contacts at organizations evaluating our services, vendor partners, and individuals who have given us their mobile number for the purpose of business communication. We do not purchase phone number lists and we do not send marketing campaigns to unsolicited recipients.

Types of messages we send

Text messages from WolfTech are conversational and operational. Typical use cases include scheduling and confirming on-site or remote service appointments, follow-up on open support tickets, time-sensitive updates about a client's environment such as outage notifications or maintenance windows, and brief replies to questions a client has asked us by phone or email.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and is driven by the support relationship. Most recipients receive messages only when there is a relevant matter to discuss. We do not send recurring scheduled marketing texts.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. WolfTech does not charge recipients for the text messages we send.

Opting out

You can stop receiving text messages from WolfTech at any time. Reply to any message from us with STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT and we will stop sending SMS to that number. You can also call us or use our contact page to request removal. Opting out of SMS does not affect our ability to reach you for service delivery through other channels such as phone calls or email.

How we protect your information

The mobile phone numbers we use for SMS are stored in our internal business systems and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only parties that handle your phone number on our behalf are the service providers that make our phone system and SMS delivery work, and only for the purpose of delivering the messages.

Records and retention

We retain SMS conversation history as part of our normal business records for service quality, billing support, and security investigations. Records are kept consistent with our overall data retention practices and are protected with the same controls as our other client data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
